Station order by line in Osaka

Pick a line to see every station name and transfer point in order.

Osaka Subway Typing Game Guide

Pick one of Osaka’s 8 lines and type every station name in order. Each line has a different number of stations and name lengths, so difficulty varies. Warm up on a short line, then take on a long one.

How to Play

  1. Choose a city and line, and the first station appears on a station sign.
  2. Type the station name in the input box. The timer starts the moment you type the first character.
  3. A correct answer moves you to the next station automatically — no Enter needed — and the train on the map advances one stop.
  4. Pressing Enter on a wrong answer counts as one typo and clears the input.
  5. When you reach the terminus, your time, keystrokes per minute and typos are shown and compared with your best.

Input Languages

The same line becomes a completely different game depending on the input language. You can switch anytime on the line list or at the top of the game screen.

Difficulty

Difficulty is mainly set by the number of stations on a line, but name length and input language also change how hard it feels.

Beginner
20 stations or fewer. Finishable in 1–3 minutes — ideal for a first try or a quick game on mobile.
Intermediate
21–35 stations. Long enough to demand focus and good for cutting down typos.
Advanced
36 stations or more. Long routes like Seoul Line 2 and metropolitan commuter lines, where simply finishing is a challenge.

With the same station count, English mode is harder because names get longer, and Local mode is harder on Japanese and Taiwanese lines that need kanji/kana conversion.

FAQ

Is it free? Do I need to install anything?

It is completely free and runs right in your browser with no install or sign-up.

Can I play on mobile?

Yes. You can play with a smartphone keyboard, and the screen adjusts so the input box stays visible above the on-screen keyboard.

Where are my records stored?

Best times are stored per line only in the browser you use and are never sent to a server. Clearing browser data resets them.

What if I don’t know the station names?

The current station name and its reading are shown on screen, so just type what you see. Play a few times and the line order sticks naturally.
