On a loop line, the starting station is half the rule

Choose any start, such as Gangnam or City Hall, but also name the direction of the next answer.

Keep player-turn direction separate: “City Hall toward Chungjeongno; turns right” prevents disputes.

Begin by saying only four stations

In this site’s game order, say City Hall, Chungjeongno, Ahyeon and Ewha Womans University one player at a time.

Then extend through Sinchon, Hongik University and Hapjeong; reverse the list if the group chose the opposite direction.

Do not jump between landmark stations

Famous stations such as Gangnam, Jamsil and Hongik University are not answers unless they immediately follow the previous station.

Group intermediate stations together: City Hall to Hongik University includes Chungjeongno, Ahyeon, Ewha Womans University and Sinchon.

The web game is the first check of order

The button opens the Seoul Line 2 typing game, where displayed station names are entered one by one.

Because the answer is visible, a fast typing score is not spoken-game skill; after playing, say four stations without looking.

Swap roles when practising with friends

One person sets start and direction while the other supplies the next station; move the start next round.

Use a generous time limit first and choose points or the next starting station instead of alcohol if preferred.

Expand from Line 2 to another line

After a comfortable section, practise another line through a transfer station and notice that its neighbouring stations change.

When opening another city or line in K Subway, read its names before comparing records.

Must Line 2 start at City Hall?

No. Any station can start, provided the group also fixes a direction.

Does the web game make you memorize order?

It helps review order, but you should also speak answers without the visible screen.

How do we play in reverse?
